I took a nice long scooter ride tonight after the girls went to bed. I saw a few cool rides.

This early Squarebody Chevy longbed hit me right in the feels. I love these trucks. I’ve decided that the owner is a mason, because the white is a brick pattern graphic. The truck looked really clean otherwise.

The B-body wagon made me stop. I think that’s a G-body wagon in front of it, but couldn’t really tell. I’m not one to venture on other people’s property.

Kinja'd!!!

Some surprising not that rusty David Tracy bait.

I saw this mean looking Lincoln on another ride a few days ago, but forgot to post it. I love these final humongous Lincolns.

Kinja'd!!!

The raised whites look great on it. If you don’t agree, fight me.

Some cool stuff there! I love the square body Chevys (first pickup I ever drive too) and we had a B wagon like that growing up.

Does the Lincoln have (1) a sun roof; (2) landau top; and (3) the spare tire hump on the rear deck lid? If so, I got your back in the fight.

That Chevy is so clean and sharp you could shave by looking at it :P

Yes, yes, and yes.

This gem was next to Patterson’s.

My dad had an electric blue ‘79 K10 longbed when I was a kid, with a 350 and a 4-on-the-floor. I loved that truck so much. It was gone long before I could drive, unfortunately.

Saw a wood paneled Cherokee kinda like that driven by an elderly lady. Really clean. Went up and thanked her for the (faux) wood paneling.

Awesome. For work many years ago, I often drove a brown C10 Scottsdale with a tree fiddy automatic. They also had a 4x4 plow truck, too. Great trucks—as long as you relocated the tank, I guess—

Hmm just not into Landau tops. I could live with it. I would have to sort the suspension and put latest version of whatever it has under the hood. Not going to get shitty MPG for shitty HP and Torque numbers. Unless it’s pre-73. tghen it wouldn’t be too bad.

Yeah, the tank location was a definite design flaw.

I would prefer no landau top as well, but I still love it.

They can be relocated though, and some versions (Suburban and I think others?) didn’t have it outside the rails.

I’d love one now —

Yep, Suburbans and Blazers had them within the frame.

I’m always looking at them. One day I’ll actually get one.

Oh yeah, I always love well maintained cars. No matter make and model.
